Well less than a week until we set out to ride across Australia to Tasmania for LCA2009. Been getting everything ready this week, put the final gear on my bike: highway pegs, video camera mount and wired the Autocom system to run off the bike’s power system instead of a 9v battery thats really only good for a single day’s riding.
New Year’s day and this morning was spent working out how to get the bikes up on the trailer. Finally figured out how to get three up there at once. I suspect we’ll only put three up for the ferry crossings, it’s much simpler putting up 1 or 2.
Any took a few photos with my folks and my sister’s bike up on the trailer, its starting to feel like this actually gonna happen.
