Just installed fedora linux core 1 on one of my systems. and Damn its FAST. Mozilla just pops up from nothing. its all very very fast.
but its installer is a pain, in the default mode it doesnt give you the option to choose packages individually and it just installs whatever it needs to satisfy dependancies (which means I ended up with 500mb of KDE bloat on my system).
