Was just reading the the GNOME Developer summary for the first week of July and mmm there are some nice toys in mentioned in there. Mostly I want the gnome-vfs module for soundjuicer. So what does this mean to you windows born freaks?
It means you can go to a location (audiocd:///) in your file manager (any file manager that accesses the file system through the gnome-vfs) and all the tracks on the cd are there as audio files, be it ogg or mp3 whatever you set it up to be. Then you just copy the tracks off and it rips and encodes them on the fly as part of the copy process. Cool toy
